How to i link Photoshop to Illustrator or export a layer from Photoshop to illustrator?
In this easy to follow tutorial we will teach you how to easily convert Adobe Photoshop CC psd file to an Illustrator CC AI file by a special file format called ESP.
What is Adobe ESP? EPS is a file extension for a graphics file format used in vector based images in Adobe Illustrator, EPS stands for Encapsulated PostScript, An EPS file can contain text as well as graphics. It also usually contains a bit map version of the image for simpler viewing rather than the vector instructions to draw the image, it is also contains layers data, this tutorial was made with Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 and Illustrator CC 2019 on Windows.

Gud voice!!
Why is my EPS layer locked and saved as an image instead?
That's not going to convert raster graphics to vector, just so people are aware. What I'd like to know is why I'm unable to copy a layer or object in Photoshop and past in Illustrator, despite Adobe's own documentation stating this is possible. The only way I'm able to do so is by having both apps visible on the screen and then dragging. Obviously not the most efficient workflow. In typical Adobe fashion, a simple workflow is made much more tedious than it needs to be.
that vector?
nop, file to large to display other formats in save menu.
Also tried to print it to pdf, same.
Thanks anyway.
have that voice checked out by an ent.
